APPG Holds First Meeting – A Briefing by City of London Police
The All-Party Parliamentary Group on Financial Crime and Scamming held its first event in Parliament on Monday 4th December 2017, a briefing by Superintendent Peter Ratcliffe of City of London Police.
Superintendent Ratcliffe briefed Members of Parliament, Peers and other stakeholders on the work of City of London Police, how the force helps tackle fraud, financial crime and scams in the UK, the latest threats and trends they are seeing and the education awareness campaigns they are supporting and running.
Following Superintendent Ratcliffe’s briefing he was asked about how City of London Police supports other UK forces in tackling financial crime, the work of Action Fraud and future campaigns the force is planning.
